This has been my go-to restaurant for 20 years now. The food is amazing and the staff is awesome!
MoreUpsetting they did not inform they would be closed during the plague.
It was pretty decent but really can't judge anything but the food, as we just got locked again due to the virus. Only problem I had was that they charge an extra $2.00 for beef, which is fine....but then they waaaay overcooked the beef so it wasn't really that good.
MorePicked out my food as I usually do, grabbed chopsticks and the lady said Would u you like me to put those in ur bag for you. I said sure, I’m paying instead of paying 14 I pay 17 and change the prices went up. Get to work and no chopsticks in the bag nor are there any utensils to eat. So I go on a scavenger hunt to eat before my food is cold and the rice is as if the put to much water in it. Very annoying.
MoreC.I. Chu's never disappoints. They are hands down the best Mongolian BBQ grill on Tucson. Clean, fast, friendly service. I have been eating here for years and will continue to do so. Highly recommend.
MoreThis warrior platter was really good considering the meats are frozen and shaved. They're reasonably priced and they have beers! I liked the boba tea because it wasn't extremely sugary like some other places.
MoreFriendly service here. Beef a tad tough, but the veggies were near perfect. It took a couple rounds before we got our side of the work right with the sauces. A little too cold inside inside for the ladies but it's a "cold" day for Tucson.
MoreStaff was amazing. Food and price left a lot to be desired. My veggies weren’t cooked enough, still almost raw- however if they cooked it any longer the sauce would have been burned. The rice was over cooked. It was $32 for two lunches, a bit pricey. Probably won’t be back, only ate half my bowl.
MoreI enjoy this place but my gosh, there's snow on the mountains. TURN ON THE HEATER. ITS COLD IN HERE.
MoreOrdered the spare ribs meal. Looked great. Meat was still raw in the middle. No one was immediately available to speak with so I just got up and left
MoreGreat food and great service
Very disappointed! I pay 19 dollars for all you can eat bowl and a drink. Takes 15 minutes to get the bowl cooked. The meat was tough but had good flavor and that is the bright spot of my visit. Still hungry after the first bowl since it cooks down. Takes another 10 minutes to cook the second bowl by this time my lunch hour is running out so I eat as much as I can then ask for a to go box, and I am told I cannot have a to go box because I paid for the all you can eat! The guy sitting next to me paid less money for his food and was able to get a to go box. There is nothing posted in the restaurant about all you can eat only applies in the dining room. Bottom line you don’t get what you pay for with this restaurant and I will NOT be back. You took my money once it will never happen again! Horrible!!!!!!
MoreThe food was about average. The service was good. The price made the meal not worth it. 1 person $12 bowl $3 drink with tax and tip and your looking at $20+ when you can go to several all you can eat restaurants with Mongolian grill for less. Staff was friendly and helpful.
MoreThis is my mongolian bbq spot in Tucson!
We have been coming here for many years. The food is outstanding! Huge selection, huge portions. Everyone can get what they want.
MoreIt was clean, and very fast service, but so expensive for food that wasn't phenomenal. For 4 people with drinks it was just under $75. I had chicken in my bowl, and when I put it in it was frozen. When i got my bowl back, cooked, the chicken was so dry. But ok, overall.
MoreI’ve been to many Mongolian restaurant and this was one of the worse ones. Due to the man who is operating the cooking station, doesn’t know how to clean it and the food comes out tasting burnt and is very dark.
MoreWe met with friends at this spot for dinner. my friend recommended this spot. Well, we were not disappointed. we were warmly welcomed by the staff and we felt very good. The food was just great. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. We recommend this place to all.

MoreMongolian-style restaurant where you select ingredients from a bar and they are cooked fresh right in front of you. Tons of great vegetables, noodles, any proteins to choose from, as well as suggested recipes for flavoring your bowl. The meals come with rice, soup, and sesame bread (which is incredible), so you end up with with a bit of food. If following a ketogenic diet, load up on veggies, meat, and oil, and avoid the rice and bread.
MoreWife and I just had lunch here and it was delicious. Veggies where fresh and yummy and the sauces suggestions where just perfect. Best Mongolian BBQ in Tucson.
MoreIf your typical to-go rice and noodle stir fry is getting a bit boring, then try Mongolian BBQ. You pick your favorite vegetables and meats and add a variety of wet ingredients (following the sauce recipe cards, or changing it up for more flavor). If you tend to like bold flavors, I'd recommend following one recipe and then add a few more scoops.
MoreIf you like mongolian beef dont eat here its horrible the soup is nasty sent it back it was so bad we couldnt eat anything waste of 25 dollars asked for a refund they said no
MoreThe food here was dry and salty. I love good Mongolian BBQ but these kids don't care about what they're serving! The food here totally sucks. I won't be going back there again. Don't waste your hard earned money. You can get better quality food at the food court in the local mall!

MoreLove this place! If you want something different and really tasty you found it! As, they say when you come through the door "WELCOME"!
MoreI love this place, I love that you can get it to go and they include rice, soup and sesame bread. It’s very fast and the food is really good. I was so glad I could find a good Mongolian bbq place in Tucson.

MoreLove this place always a good meal. Wish they didn't have the no to go box rule after 4pm, but the food has always been on point and they keep the place and the bowl assembly line pretty clean! Definitely worth a try if you haven't been there and you like Mongolian grill type food!
MoreJust moved to the area from California and was wondering if you could get Mongolian BBQ in Tucson. It's the best ever!! And the price is right.
MoreGreat Mongolian BBQ can be had here. You start with mixing-up your ingredients in a bowl to give to the cook. Then you get your "extras" (rice, soup, bread) and find a seat. They will bring your food to you when it is ready. The food is great. Friendly and fantastic service. It's often busy during weekday lunch-time, so arrive early, if you want faster service.
MoreIf you like mongolian beef dont eat here its horrible the soup is nasty sent it back it was so bad we couldnt eat anything waste of 25 dollars asked for a refund they said no
MoreThoroughly enjoy this placed, I prefer to go during lunch (before 4) because one bowl I plenty for me to eat so the lunch price for a bowl plus soup plus bread and rice is a better deal than the all you can since I can’t eat enough to make it worth it. However even the all you can eat price isn’t too expensive. I like that they give you basically unlimited fortune cookies :)
MoreThe last time I was here was around a year ago. They have rice noodles now, and an option between single bowl or all you can eat. Finally a Mongolian bbq with rice noodles. The cook seems inexperienced, some of the vegetables were really undercooked. Still, would for sure recommend this place.

MoreVery good!
Great food and great service
Almost as good as the food i ate in Japan

MoreThe sesame bread!!!! It makes the entire experience. Make sure you read their sauce suggestions if you’re building your own bowl- it can really make or break your dining experience but they obviously know what they’re doing. Egg drop soup is also delicious. I probably come here once or twice a month-It’s very good and affordable as well! Would recommend everything here.
MoreIt wont blow u away but it's a decent lunch spot. U wont have anything undercooked. The sesame bread is pretty good. I recommend sticking with egg drop soup unless you are used to the flavors of the other two. Option between white and brown rice, i feel like they missed out on the opportunity to have fried rice as an option. Overall i enjoyed it.
MoreDid the All You Can Eat option. It was delicious. We will definitely be going back in the future.
MoreHungry? Make your very filling and satisfying meal with the ingredients you choose. Delicious.
